AVAILABLE IN BOTH LIGHT AND DARK ROAST!

This excellent decaffeinated coffee comes from the picturesque El Vergel coffee farm in Colombia. Decaffeinated coffees have been in the news a lot lately, and decaffeination techniques are making significant advancements. This coffee has been decaffeinated using what is perhaps the best end-processing method available today: the E.A. process. E.A., or ethyl acetate, is a naturally occurring ester found in bananas, for example, and it binds to caffeine exceptionally well. By immersing coffee beans in a water bath containing ethyl acetate, caffeine is effectively removed without compromising the coffee’s natural flavor.

We roast two roasting profiles from this coffee. The lighter roast has a bright taste of sweet pomelo and apple with a cocoa body. The darker profile has a richer body and flavours we describe as more like dark chocolate and baked apple. Decaffeinated coffees are taking big leaps at the moment and this El Vergel Colombian is probably the best decaffeinated coffee we've tasted!

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect delivery address or refused receipt, we reserve the right to charge you for the return costs. If you want us to resend the order, we reserve the right to charge you a new delivery charge.

Clothes have a 14-day return period, counting from the time the product has arrived for collection at the pick-up point, or when the product has been delivered to the customer. Returns must be made directly to [email protected] within these 14 days. The customer is responsible for the postage of the product return, including shipping costs.
